Course Description

This course offers a reflection, theology, and praxis for persons who lead worship. Emphasis is placed on the role and character of the worship leader and on corporate worship as a vehicle for spiritual formation and a catalyst for social change in the world. This course underscores the responsibility and possibility of intentional and hospitable leadership. Students will be exposed to resources, different paradigms of worship leadership, effective planning and evaluation methodologies, and the role of worship in the work of justice.
