In this Bible study, we will explore resilience, which is modeled for us by several biblical characters. We will examine joy, which is different from happiness, since for Christians, it can occur while we are in the midst of difficult circumstances. We will also seek to rediscover our core identity, which is found in Jesus Christ.
The study follows Mary the Tower (Mary Magdalene), Mary “of a certain village,” the woman who was poor, the prodigal child, the woman who was bent over, the travelers on the road to Emmaus, Jesus the Christ, and other witnesses living in joy, resiliency and claiming their identity in the Sovereign One.
