This course is an introduction to Hebrew exegesis through analysis of representative selections from biblical texts including narratives, psalms, prophets, law, and wisdom literature. Attention will be given to various scholarly methods as well as modes of theological appropriation and proclamation. Hebrew language is a prerequisite.
